When you become a Seton hospice volunteer, you’re not joining just any group; you’re becoming a part of a family – the Seton family. Our volunteers offer a helping hand and a kind word during what can be a time of stress and uncertainty for our patients and families.
Did you know that the word “companion” is not only a noun, but also a verb? “Companion” means “to accompany”. To be a companion volunteer is not only to be a friend and companion, but it also means to accompany someone on a journey. In the case of being a hospice volunteer, you are one who accompanies another on their journey at the end of life.
