MLK Jr. Day of Service 2021
Dates: 12/14/2020 - 1/18/2021
Join us as we continue our annual tradition of gathering with our neighbors in service and activism to honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
United Way for Greater Austin brings people, ideas, and resources together to fight poverty in our community, and we can only fight poverty as a community by standing up for racial justice. Dr Martin Luther King Jr.believed in the power of individuals to strengthen communities and achieve common goals. As we reflect on the past year, Dr. King’s legacy, and our own mission of bringing people together to fight poverty we encourage you to join us in engaging, learning, and taking action to move us closer to Dr. King’s vision of a “Beloved Community.”
