STEM Lab Prep
We are excited about the opportunity to convert a storage warehouse into a brand new STEM Lab for our agency, HOWEVER, we need your help with clearing out the space!! We are looking for a group of at least 15 to 20 volunteers who are not afraid to sweat and get a little dirty; ideally be able to lift up to 50lbs. Flexible schedule - you name the date and time! Project can be split into two separate days, 3-4 hour shifts.
Child, Inc., an independent 501(c)(3), non-profit corporation, is the Head Start program for Travis County, founded in 1972. We provide early childhood development programs for children from low-income families, with comprehensive services including education, health, dental, nutrition, and mental health services, along with special education for children with disabilities. Our goal is to provide each child with the necessary attention to promote the child’s growth, maturation and school readiness. We operate several child development centers located throughout Travis County, and follow the AISD calendar of operation.
