POSTPONED Join Us to Help Save Lives

To date, the American Red Cross has over 550 documented lives saved (including 7 lives saved in the Bryan/College Station area) from smoke alarms our volunteers installed in homes that are at risk for home fires. Join us on Saturday, April 27th from 8am - 1:30pm to help us install 1,000 smoke alarms in our community and reduce home-fire fatalities. All volunteers who sign up will be part a nationwide campaign to make our communities safer, and we need 500 volunteers in order to install our 1,000 smoke alarm goal.

Volunteers will receive hands-on training on the day of the installation and we will provide all the supplies needed for the day. We will be installing in East Austin. More details including the rally point and timings are available on the sign-up link below. You can also learn more about the program by watching this YouTube video showing how this program helped a family stay safe during a home fire.
