ACGC Children's Healing Garden
Come out and help Austin Child Guidance Center beautify our Children's Healing Garden. The Children’s Healing Garden was created to provide an aesthetically pleasing environment for our clients to further aid in their healing process. As a society, we have a need for nature and we wanted to provide our clients, as well as the community, with a safe place to reconnect with nature and reflect. Our therapists and volunteers frequently use this space during client sessions and community events. We would greatly benefit from help with maintenance of our outdoor space including weeding, mulching or the addition of any native Texas plant and/or grass seed donations. This will greatly help beautify the garden and make it a more welcoming environment for our clients and their families receiving therapy services at ACGC.
ACGC's services ensure that children suffering from emotional and behavioral problems will receive the help they need and deserve, regardless of their family’s ability to pay. Your investment will have immediate and long-term impacts for children who otherwise might not have access to mental health services. We greatly appreciate your support of helping in our mission to create a world in which all children have the social and emotional skills to have healthy relationships, to be successful in school, and to grow up to be positive, contributing members of their community.
Age Minimum (with Adult): 18+, Minimum Age:18+
