Winter 2019 Family Volunteer Day
Calling all helping hands: Join us at United Way for Greater Austin for a morning of volunteer projects in support of our 2-1-1 Navigation Center and our community partners. All projects are appropriate for any age volunteer - bring the whole family!
Why volunteer as a family? Volunteering together is a great way to spend meaningful time together as a family and teach children the importance of learning about and caring for their community. Adults can make a difference in children’s lives by spending meaningful time creating powerful positive parent-child interactions that affect a child’s ability to learn, grow, and thrive. Also, volunteering is FUN!
Breakfast tacos & warm beverages will be on hand for all volunteers!
Children 17 and younger must be accompanied by parent(s) - please plan accordingly!
Age Minimum (with Adult): 100+
